Terms and Conditions:

  • Students must enrol for a minimum of 12 weeks to apply for this programme and must complete it by the end of 2026.
  • Refer to the NZLC Fees and Courses and the NZLC Enrolment Form for NZLC’s full Terms and Conditions and all other fees.
  • All fees are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST (local tax) where applicable.
  • Students must meet the required English level at the start of the programme. An NZLC online placement test can be taken to assist NZLC in preparing a study plan.
  • The placement fee is non-refundable once the placement service has started.
  • This service is provided by an external service provider, and NZLC will refer students to them. Students must follow the provider’s Terms and Conditions and Policies.
  • Working hours average 30 hours per week throughout the year. However, hours may vary, with less than 20 hours per week during off-peak periods and 40+ hours per week during busy periods.
  • Depending on the area, it may be difficult to arrange the start date during off-peak periods as requested by the student. In such cases, the start date may be adjusted accordingly.
  • This program arranges up to a maximum of three interviews with potential employers. However, if the student’s actions prevent successful completion of the interviews (e.g., lateness, unexcused absences, insufficient preparation, or other behaviours that interfere with the interview), and the desired outcome is not achieved, no additional arrangements will be made, and the internship arrangement service will be considered complete. No refund of the arrangement fee will be provided. If the student wishes to continue arranging interviews, additional arrangements may be considered upon payment of an additional fee.
  • The internship arrangement fee is to be paid to NZLC after arrival in New Zealand, following a brief interview with the coordinator. Support will begin from that point. Students may withdraw from this service before payment.
  • Students must be physically and mentally healthy and demonstrate a good work attitude. Otherwise, the internship arrangement service may not be provided. The arrangement fee is non-refundable once the service has started.
