Words from our French intern

We had the pleasure of working with  Thibault, our lovely intern from France. After 3 months working at NZLC Auckland, it's time for Thibault to return home. We wish him all the best!

I get cold easily. When I saw that I had to find an internship in a foreign country for my studies, I immediately thought about the sweet weather of New Zealand. But the weather is not the only good part about being here! This has been an experience of a life-time!

Not only has the internship taught me a lot about how to manage a language school, and an enterprise in general, but also how to live with people on the other side of the world. I learnt about the amazing atmosphere of Auckland, at work and in daily life.

The NZLC staff always made me feel at home, and were always ready to mix with the French culture. Easy going and helpful, they know when to be professional and when to relax! Every meeting (with the staff as with the international students) was an eye opener, as it was also a way to discover the world and its different cultures.

My internship consisted in helping around with database entry, reception, assisting the marketing staff, but also accompanying students on activities around the city.I think I can say that I made the most of my trip, visiting Auckland even more than many of the locals themselves!

To sum up, I would say that this internship has been perfect to discover Auckland, New-Zealand, its working atmosphere, and of course the Kiwi people. Thank you NZLC for having offered me this opportunity!
