The NZLC team is highly honoured to have been chosen as the winner of the 2014 STM Star English Language School Award - Southern Hemisphere.
We are incredibly grateful for all of the votes that were placed on our behalf, for our staff of hard working, dedicated educators for the past 30 years, and for the unexpected but exciting opportunity to be recognized for something we’re so passionate about: providing the best possible education for our international and study-abroad students and helping them to prepare for a career in the diverse but rewarding language teaching field.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to recognize all of the other nominees and winners in the other categories for their dedication to their students as well - we’re all working towards the same goal of quality education and work experience for our students!
The Study Travel Magazine (STM) Star Awards were originally established in 2006 as a unique and prestigious peer-voted recognition for international language education schools. This year’s glamorous awards ceremony took place in London, and it was an incredible opportunity to socialise and network with fellow educators and travel organisations in a star-studded night of great food, laughter, and dancing.
Study Travel Magazine has always been a highly respected educator resource that covers the most pressing issues and news in education, language learning, and study abroad programmes around the globe today. With 23 award categories, over 100 shortlisted nominees, and over800 participants, the STM Star Awards stay true to this original foundation as a fun and distinguished annual event that acknowledges the important mutual links between global education centres and the value of networking with other overseas education leaders.
Thank you again for all of your votes and support, and thank you to STM for the wonderful evening! We are honoured recipients, and as we move forward, we hope to continue to create a meaningful impact on the lives and future careers of our students of every age, nationality, and learning level.
