If you love coffee or you’re interested in hospitality, how about learning the art of preparing delicious café beverages while you study English in Auckland or Wellington?
New Zealand’s Café Scene
You may be familiar with the ‘cappuccino’ and ‘latte’, but have you tried a ‘flat white’? Similar to the latte but with less milk and a stronger flavour, the flat white emerged from New Zealand and Australia in the 1980s.
When you arrive in Auckland or Wellington, you will most likely see the locals walking around town with a take-away coffee cup in hand. Wellington especially, is renowned for its café culture. Be sure to check out the great numbers of hip coffee shops around town.
